Double bill of British comedies from the 1930s.

Joy Ride (1935)
It's cabaret time in London's West End. At a ringside table sit Bill (comedy star Gene Gerrard) and his cousin Dippy. Suddenly they spot their uncle. Assuming the coast to be clear, the boys invite their girlfriends to share a joy ride to the ancestral home, but car trouble leads to catastrophe!

Radio Lover (1936)
Co-directed by George Formby/Tommy Trinder collaborator Austin Melford (I See Ice, Keep Fit), this inventive comedy stars the director's brother Jack Melford (A Shot in the Dark, Scruffy) as Reggie, a charming but penniless young man who hits upon an ingenious route to fame and fortune.
