A touching love story that's punctuated with extravagant musical numbers in which all of Moscow becomes a stage, Circus has a very gentle energy.
In the mid-30s Marion Dixon, an American woman, escapes from the USA with her little black son. Being aware of her private life, von Kneischitz, a circus artist, blackmails her forcing to work with him. Having performed an offbeat attraction in the USSR, Marion finds new friends, meets her love and makes a decision to stay here forever.
