"Der Herr auf Bestellung" stars Forst as Carry Klips, a stylish young gentleman with some talents both for music and the ladies, who works as a so-called 'Festredner', a person who makes speeches at important events like marriages etc. for people who don't feel able to do it themselves. Klips lends his voice to a speech-impaired professor (Paul Horbiger), but the baroness (Trude Lieske) who falls in love with that professor only does so because of Klips's voice, and unsurprisingly this leads to all sorts of hilarious situations. Furthermore, Carry's sweetheart Lillebil (Else Elster) becomes increasingly impatient about not being asked for her hand in marriage...
