An epileptic patient has grown in an underdeveloped and superstitious atmosphere ends up to be considered by all, even by himself, as a werewolf. A peddler by profession, he accompanies emigrants to other places, and once in the woods he assassinates them without anybody finding out.
Only a forest dwelling witch knows his transformation is caused by epileptic seizures. The Abbot (Antonio Casas) is called on to form a team to investigate, and local farmers set out wolf traps in an effort to halt the harrowing murders.
