Grease is back like never before in this vibrantly remastered edition!

Grease was previously released to Blu-ray in 2009 to decent, if not unspectacular, result. For the film's 40th anniversary, Paramount has returned to the film and released a "fully restored" Blu-ray from the original negative which was "scanned and received extensive clean up and color correction."

This SteelBook edition also includes the inferior sequel 'Grease 2' and 2016's TV event 'Grease Live!'.

Grease (1978)

It was a summer romance and Danny Zuko (John Travolta) and Sandy Olsson (Olivia Newton-John) did not expect to see each other again. Danny goes back to Rydell High in his senior year, dons his leather-jacket to maintain his tough image as leader of the T-Birds, and starts to tell his friends Kenickie (Jeff Conaway), Doody (Barry Pearl), Sonny (Michael Tucci) and Putzie (Kelly Ward) about his summer vacation. Meanwhile Sandy meets the Pink Ladies: Rizzo (Stockard Channing), Frenchy (Didi Conn), Jan (Jamie Donnelly), and Marty (Dinah Manoff), and tells them about her beach romance. But when they meet again, their romance turns cold as Danny tries to live up to his tough-guy image... until true love finds its way.

Grease 2 (1982)

The 1978 blockbuster musical hit Grease is followed by director Patricia Birch’s Grease 2 in 1982 with Maxwell Caulfield and Michelle Pfeiffer. A few cast members from the original movie such as Dody Goodman, Sid Caesar, Eddie Deezen, Didi Conn, Dennis Stewart, Joan Blondell and Eve Arden reprise their roles.
And so it is back to school at Rydell High, but now it is 1961 and a handsome English lad called Michael Carrington (Caulfield) joins the senior high-school class. He puts on a leather jacket, restores an old motorbike, and sets out to win the heart of Pink Lady Stephanie Zinone (Pfeiffer).

Grease Live! (2016)

Grease: Live! was a live television event that aired on FOX on January 21, 2016, recreating the world of the original 1978 musical classic Grease with Julianne Hough portraying Sandy and Aaron Tveit playing Danny Zuko.
From the first few minutes, it’s incredibly fun and energetic, with a star-studded cast perfectly at ease with the immense pressure of a live broadcast and seemingly thrilled to be there. The story itself feels fresh again, thanks to an effective blend of both the show and the movie in both content and presentation, and the songs are tremendously well recreated here.
