La ligne de demarcation / Line of Demarcation (1966) DVD5
The Germans have already invaded France. In the winter of 1941, in a village in the Jura Mountains, the Loue River divides Free France and Occupied France. A French prisoner-of-war, Pierre, is released to find his chateau converted into a German command centre. Whilst he is obliged to co-operate with the enemy, his wife Mary secretly plays a hand in supporting the French resistance. The Nazis step up their activity against the resistance, insisting that any who attempt to cross the line of demarcation will be shot. Tensions are heightened when Gestapo officers arrive in the village in ruthless pursuit of a pair of Free France agents. When his wife is arrested, Pierre decides to switch his allegiance...
