Le mouton a cinq pattes 1954
French comic actor Fernandel plays six different roles—quintuplet brothers and their father—in this farce about a family reunion.

The mayor of Trezignan, a small town in the south of France, plans to revive his little community by holding a fete to commemorate a very special event – the fortieth anniversary of the birth of a set of quintuplets.

The five are all different in temperament and create incredibly diverse vignettes when located. There’s the window washer, a hypochondriac with a bunch of kids of his own. The ‘lonely hearts’ columnist with a heart of gold. The beautician is both pompous and very, very prissy. And the village priest, who has an ‘identity’ problem. In the film’s most intense comic moment, there’s the ship's captain who bets both his craft and his delectable girl friend on the movements of a fly. And when they all return to the village there’s a most amazing surprise awaiting them.
