The Oregon Trail 1976 The Complete Series
In 1842, widower Evan Thorpe (Rod Taylor) and his three children leave their Illinois farm and join a wagon train heading west into the Oregon Territories to make a new life for themselves. Evan's eldest son, Andrew, still greatly missing his mother and having a hard time coming to grips with his father's decision to remarry after only two years, gives Jessica, the new matriarch, the cold shoulder at first. The younger siblings, William and Rachel, have an easier time accepting their new stepmother. The wagon train suffers through a cholera epidemic and a few harrowing encounters with Indians, but comes through mostly intact.

A total of fourteen episodes were shot, but only six of those were broadcast by NBC before the show was cancelled, so this will be the first time most people will see the remaining eight episodes!
