Jorge "El Tigre" Cedrón was the author of a handful of titles, rebellious and controversial, they suffered disparate fates until finally, more than three decades later, this work puts them in a deserved place, that of memory, the product of several years of contacts and searches, research and interviews, with the fundamental objective of those in charge of rescuing his complete work in restored copies.
"Hasta la memoria siempre" brings together the seven films made by Cedrón and that the Argentine filmmaker managed to disperse in the suitcases of his friends before going into exile in France to protect them from official censorship. "La vereda de enfrente" (1963), "El otro Oficio" (1967), "El habilitado" (1970), "Por los senderos del Libertador" (1971), "Operación masacre" (1972), "Resistir" (1978) and "Gotán" (1979) make up the filmography of the filmmaker and leftist activist. The history of the films and how they survived the destruction by censorship of the time is in itself worthy of a film.
