Dawn of the Mummy (1981) DVD9 Widescreen and Fullscreen (Open Matte) versions
Seferaman Egyptian king was mummified and entombed 3,000 years ago. A batty priestess places a curse upon the tomb, ensuring that anyone disturbing Seferaman’s slumber will feel the wrath of his resurrection. After a trio of thieves disturb the ancient resting place of Sefaraman, they unwittingly unleash the mummy's curse upon the land! ...
Their search is interrupted, however, by the arrival of a group of Americans out on a fashion shoot in the Egyptian desert. The glare and heat of the camera lights combined with the noise made by the trespassers soon causes the evil, mummified Safiraman to awaken from his eternal slumber in order to kill those who have dared disturb his sacred resting place. Soon Safiraman's undead, flesh-craving servant's also rise from their graves deep beneath the desert sands and together the evil mummy and his zombie minions take their horrifying revenge as they descend on a nearby village, killing and devouring all whom they encounter.
