Tragicomedy about meeting the great Austrian director Fritz Lang with the pioneers of Slovenian Film Karl Grossmannom. Lang during World War I as a non-commissioned officer spends some time in-house lawyer Karol Gatnik in a small town in the northeast of Slovenia. Lang is befriended by passionate amateurs film Gatnik and acquainted with members of his family and gets involved in a wide range of pleasant and less pleasant events.
They make a film together. This is probably Lang’s first contact with cinematography.
