When Anne and Marc have decided to have a baby, Marc discovers that he has Hodgkin's disease. This film isn't the story of an illness, it's the story of love, a love that puts paid to sadness and the fear of death, a love that feeds on adversity to become a real force. Stage-by-stage narrative follows Marc through intensive surgery, physical therapy and chemotherapy, while the two maintain their loving relationship, both emotionally and sexually.
