This drama follows in the footsteps the preceding films Los Marginados and El Milusos by director Roberto G. Rivera and once again takes up the story of an impoverished farming family who goes to the city in the hopes of finding a better life.
Serafin (Roberto Guzman) and his wife and six children plagued by drought and unproductive land, and they don't want to grow marijuana, so they move to the capital in search of a better life. After they arrive in Mexico City, their lives slide downhill. Unable to read or write, untrained in any skills, no one in the family is prepared for a real job. Drugs, unemployment, theft and prostitution lead to tragedy...
